Chapter President receives high score on Ohara Ikebana Test
On 4/20/2026, our chapter president Mayumi took a plunge with her first Ohara Ikebana Test in Nagoya, Japan. She earned 95 points out of 100! She received a certificate with Headmaster Hiroki Ohara’s official stamp.
Visit to Southeastern Ohara Chapter
Several Miami Valley Chapter members attended a seminar held by Southeastern Ohara Chapter on March 25-27, 2026 in Greer, South Carolina. The seminar was taught by the Associate Professor Hozuki Oyamada of Ohara School of Ikebana in Japan. We sharpened our Ikebana skills and learned what’s new from Headquarters while enjoying our friends from South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Illinois.
